when it is not allowed to do something within itself, nature kills itself. every system within nature + the system it belongs to is just balance, push-pull, etc. if something becomes too strong, wipes out a part of the system it belongs to and nothing can change to become even stronger (which would have a chain reaction through the entire system) to stop this threat/make the next thing stonger, etc, then it kills itself
as the next step is destroyed its food source/whatever can kill it, what it relies on, is also destroyed. this is where it dies
and for very extreme situations like an ant (the most POWERFUL animal) going into some place where it can kill everything and "take over", where it wouldnt be stopped until it completely destoys everything and renders the environment unusable until it evolves back, the human would stop it. same with hornets, spiders, etc. but, in this way, the "human" is still a part of this system, just at a very high level. the "law" if you will. and that is what is stopping it from doing exactly that
