2) Tangent, but My status, the general prosperity of my mostly black neighborhood, and the absolute retards of several races I've encountered have probably been the biggest gaps in me accepting the idea of genetic racial difference in IQ. But it probably really is true.
You start to notice early on that people just don't understand concepts you get easily, and they don't perceive like you do. You don't dislike them or get frustrated, that's just how it is. You never internalize this as anything but an attribute of yourself and others, not a race, not a group. Then as you grow older you see that statistically "your people" are just more stupid. It's a weird feeling.
