cardinality - number of nonzero elements
pi is the cardinality of a base pi numeral system: ( 1,2,3 )_pi :: pi, 2pi, 3pi etc

1/10 is the multiplicative inverse of 10

so 1 is just a unit of any number system, a base 1 system is equivalent to the count of objects

What pattern are you seeing? Keep in mind that due to the value of e, the number of symbols is limited to 0, 1, 2, and e. You're unlikely to ever exactly hit e, so you end up seeing 0, 1, and 2 over and over again. Your brain is used to seeing all base 10 symbols so this sets off the pattern detection part of your brain, which thinks there is a pattern even if one doesn't actually exist.

Depends on your nation's methodology in how it defines demographics. India for example probably would allow you to define yourself as Indian man because their culture prizes lighter shades of skin. So shades of skin/economic status are treated with as their own pseudo racial categories because of their caste system.

Meanwhile Brazil has shown their willingness to allow you to identify as a black man if you can prove some family ancestry with those of Sub-Sahara African descent even if it's simply through marriage as a step sibling. Which is why there was a big debate concerning who was able to get slots in college and government several years ago. Specifically because of how they categorize demographics.

Social construction of race is about categorization. There's nothing stopping a nation from categorizing myopic people as their own race since they have physical traits, genetic markers and even IQ differences from non-myopic people.

We were told that a set is closed if it contains all its limit points, and from that we had to prove that the definition was equivalent to "a set is closed if its complement is open"
Proving the implication closed -> complement is open was alright. Proving complement is open -> closed was way more difficult, so what I did was replace that proposition with ots contrapositive: not closed -> complement is not open. The proof got a lot easier and I know because of propositional calculus that what I did is correct.
