In general, I firmly believe in natural units, which is the same as unitless systems if you are doing it right (classic example: mass and frequency weighted harmonic oscillator in natural units of time and energy). Sadly, those aren't easily available for many realistic systems or things with multi-scale issues.

I'm of course only half serious with the latter examples. Inverse centimeters are a reasonable energy scale for molecular systems, Ry for electronic energies. Mass in general I prefer mostly removed since it only tends to get in the way. Temperature is multiplied by k anyway when it matters and hence is not a unit I find useful on its own, not for theory at least.

Since /lit/ could not help me I might as well ask here: What is considered reality, how can we assess something to be real? As an example, if someone claims to see ghosts, the majority would consider him insane but if someone was born blind he would call us insane too after hearing our concept of colors. I believe this to be a philosophical question, shame that /lit/ wasn't helpful in that regard so maybe someone could shed some light on that topic in a scientific view.

Artificial insemination alone is not enough. Chimp sperm are not receptive to human eggs and vice versa.

(ICSI) Intracytoplasmic sperm injection instead would be required.

It is likely that the result of such a procedure would have a low chance of being viable. That said if you carried the procedure out enough times it is likely you would eventually get one that was viable.

I once tried to explore the problem like this: If a number c disproves the collatz conjecture, then there exists a minimum number C that disproves the conjecture. That's not retrocausality. Photon goes through both slits in superposition, that's settled history you can't change. What you can change is to observe it from different angles and thus have different observations. But a change of your point of view doesn't change the past.
