Divorce and Children's Interest in Adult Topics Too Young

No.14416061 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Any bros either in psychology or who just read science about it know anything on the subject.
I have a cousin who divorced when their child was 1 and she is trying to grow up too fast and thinks about topics like relationships and even the physical aspects of that way more than any other child I've ever met.
Ofc she has no real idea about any of it.
Any knowledge about it?
I feel the need to have some reference points to keep her acting her age even though both parents have remarried for awhile now, but they have split custody.
I just want to point out things to them in literature about the situation not intervene myself although we're close enough that some vague advice may be enough.

This IQ shit is depressing

No.14418576 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I went to a neuropsychologist not too long ago. The tests lasted several hours, and I was deeply anxious. Jordan peterson’s voice kept whispering in my ear, “IQ is the best predictor of success”.
The WAIS-IV results came back not too long ago:
FSIQ of 109
Verbal IQ of 122
Performance IQ of 107
In terms of IQ, words speak louder than actions. I also have aspergers as the neuropsych said and I really don’t know how to feel. ADHD stimulants are hard to get despite the fact that i can’t function academically without them. I also have aspergers so I see patterns in everything, and I really feel for low IQ people sometimes. Sometimes I want to believe this is pseudoscience and not a real measurable thing. Oh well.

Science supporting creationism

>we came from monkeys
Why are there still monkeys then? I can go to the zoo and observe that they have monkeys. Did only some of them evolve to humans? Why not the rest?

Any other arguments for creationism based on the scientific method? No Jewish studies will be accepted.

I pose a question to /sci/

/lit/anon here, answer me honestly, what iq is considered "brainlet" in stem?

My iq is within {115,125}, let's say my supposition is correct. I have cunning, I have acute self awareness, organizational ability and good work ethic. Is that enough for a STEM degree? highschool math was easy for me, by the way.

Can you completely lose consciousness and still be alive?

No.14419113 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I dont understand the difference between being in a coma or being knocked out and being brain dead. Are you always partially aware when you're in a coma? If you completely cease to be conscious are you just dead then?
