Hello 4chan,

I'm a medical student in a European university and I'm in a bit of a mess.
I'm turning to you for some help or inspiration.

I'm doing a thesis on radiology, deep-learning and covid-19.
I would like to do a systematic review comparing human intelligence and artificial intelligence. As it is obvious that robots win, I wanted to go further by comparing the different artificial intelligences.

So, I already know some basic notions and vocabulary such as architectures, deep layers etc...

I'm asking you for ideas on how I should present my work, how I should go about it, which magazines to analyse etc...

Then use MeSH terms to find those individual types of neural nets, radiology, and covid-19
I don't know if you'll find many papers on the topic.

I found 4 papers with a quick filter search, but 4chan thinks the links are spam

Anyway.
I would write my review as
Intro
Methods for how you systematically found all the papers
review the radiological features of covid-19
review the different types of neural nets
review the existing literature for each neural net in the context of covid-19 radiology
review the strengths and weaknesses of each NN (versus the rest) in the context of covid-19
If you notice any missing areas of research missing, include that in the conclusion and future directions for research

That's just off the top of my head, but it might work. Hope it helps bruh

If you're interested in genetic circuits, check out those links. It's a Verilog-based tool for designing logic gates through transcriptional regulation. It used to take a team of postdocs years to create a simple genetic circuit. Now anybody with basic understanding of Verilog can design a genetic construct that will perform all of these operations over their lunch break.

Yes. You'll probably get a better response from people who know what they're talking about if you don't post sensational pop-sci topics. That said, people who know what they're talking about don't tend to post about their work because it's highly specific and identifiable.

There are types of genes that can turn other genes 'off' and 'on'. You can think of this as an analog to traditional electrical circuits as 'current' or 'no current'. You can make these regulatory genes turn other regulatory genes off and on and to make logical operations.

Up until 5 years ago, this used to be a slow and painstaking process. Now, you can design genetic circuits as easily as you would an electrical circuit using a standard programming tool in EE.

For example, anybody could make a half-adder. 10 years ago, this would have gotten you a Science publication.

Why don't 3d printers have cilia on the nosel to smooth out the print so there is no banding. Or even controllable cilia to make it much more precise

I am not familiar with 3d printing or cilia, but it seems like the cilia will also wear out just from flexion. Worst part being one breaking into the print at a critical point causing unknown variation in it. This sort of thing would require regular changing and pretty good confidence levels for failure. Quick looking shows artificial cilia is used for cilia scaled interactions like small fluid pumps.
Alright, so cross hatching on the cilia, like chicken wire, will prevent contamination at failure. Would that remove the advantages of the cilia itself?

This. You can learn the basics pretty fast. Any book on logic will just go over notation and set theory, followed by proof writing. There really isn't much to it if you want just to apply it or use it like a tool.
