Basically my plan is just pass out a bunch of fliers around at the junky hangouts in my city, then buy okay looking jewelry from crackheads who're looking for a fix. Hit up second hand stores, flee markets, yard sales, etc. as well. Seems like it could be flipped for a decent margin.
Eventually I'd like to travel around the world buying gems from different mine sites, selling them in big cities, but I need to make a couple grand first. Thats why I'm doing this.
One thing I've found is that gold is a very soft metal, so it can be easily cut with, for example, a steel blade. This seems like a decent test, since steel is often used as for fake jewelry, but then copper would also fail this test. I want to know exactly what I can do to minimize chances of buying worthless metals.
