What's the consensus about psychology here? It officially does count as science. In my opinion classifying mental issues isn't a meme and valid but almost all psychologists are meme tier and probably not much better at diagnosing someone than 14yo girls diagnosing themselves with issues. It's crazy how every psychologist I went to ignored almost all of my symptoms just because they couldn't accept one could get a gifted iq score while constantly being out of one's mind dissociating. They'd rather just pick 2-3 symptoms which other issues share and then "diagnose" them. It didn't make any sense so they added so many issues to the diagnosis until it looked like it made sense, unless one would question it

I literally do not give a single shit about any school work. I go for long walks in the forest most days and play. I see the work on my laptop but I cannot do it. I'm already 2 years in, I just drink a pot of coffee before the exam and pass + simp for the professor.

I don't have a problem with the data but can someone help me understand the conclusion. Why not just say: "We don't understand the large scale effects/properties of matter." Rather than "A new form of matter exists." Similar to how there's quantum strangeness on small scales why couldn't there be a similar property on a large enough scale?
