Technical with angles

No.13524569 ViewReplyOriginalReport
So the classic 'Isometric' Role-Playing video games Fallout and Fallout 2 actually have a trimetric setup. I've been wanting to capture screenshots of a modded Fallout New Vegas in the EXACT angles used in the classic games in order to capture that 'old & new' feel. Isometric games have quick easy angles, but trimetric games prove difficult to dial in. Math people, is there any way I can calculate these precise camera angles from screenshots of the classic games in order to achieve an identical projection?

Why do physicists truncate their equations due to 'them being small', writing but then in the next paper they switch it for = like nothing happened?

Organ transplants and memory transfer

No.13524077 ViewReplyOriginalReport
It has been well documented that some instances of organ transplants result in the patient developing some sort of connection with the donor which can manifest itself in things as small as liking new foods they hated before (which the donor liked) or something as remarkable as recalling names and faces of people they haven't met.
Do any of you anons have links to studies that could show the reason behind this?

Financial Calculations

Why did Einstein supposedly say that compound interest was
>the most powerful force in the universe.
and
> wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it; he who doesn’t, pays it.
?
Can someone explain compound and simple interest? The explanations online are kind of confusing since there are multiple equations and they almost contradict each other (some take into account when interest is applied and some don't). What are annuities? What are some other financial devices we should be aware of?

For my entire life, I looked at these huge names of our society as all knowing Gods. Then Elizabeth Holmes showed and made them look like fools. She showed the world how pathetic these "great" people really are.
