Are there similarities between your own physical appearance and the physical appearance of the stereotypical scientist?

DIE CASTING

No.13532672 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Does anyone know what is or can be the cause of the dark bands on the die casted element made of Zn-Al (pic related)? It's both on the surface and inside the element (judging from its cross section).

Nutrafole: hair loss treatment

No.13533028 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Any good studies on side effects for this yet? It has ingredients that block DHT and then some more that promote hair that is already growing to grow even healthier. Even though it blocks DHT, they claim that Nutrafole somehow increases instead of decreases libido, contrary to finasteride (and even though "decreased libido" is reported by only 3% of finasteride users, and 2% of placebo users). they also sell it to women even though finasteride is considered a no no for women because of its DHT blocking abilities. Fin can be obtained from some pharmacies for <$10 a month, Nutrafole costs $90 a month. Is nutrafole worth it or was it a good attempt at a dietary supplement but the end product basically a scam when fin exists?

The problem with modern soience is that is filled with accountants, not scientists. Materialist hylics lack intuition and therefore cannot innovate only recall and assemble, which is why there have been zero breakthroughs in 100 years. In short you are all pseud hacks and should go to vocational school instead of burdening this field that has all gone to shit because it is full of retards.

Culture and Medicine

Hello

Do paid for research results result in a type of modern folk medicine? Is it no different than your shaman telling you something works?

Is the CDC a modern day shaman?

How can one be sure that published medical trial results are accurate?

Are there any instances of a drug coming to market and never recalled or reformulated or some type of large numbers of death occurring due to (insert coincidental tampering and poisonig here)?

New study shows Ivermectin significantly reduces COVID-19 mortality

No.13530422 ViewReplyOriginalReport
>Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19 Infection: A Systematic Review, Meta-analysis, and Trial Sequential Analysis to Inform Clinical Guidelines
> Therapeutic Advances:
>Meta-analysis of 15 trials found that ivermectin reduced risk of death compared with no ivermectin (average risk ratio 0.38, 95% confidence interval 0.19–0.73; n = 2438; I2 = 49%; moderate-certainty evidence). This result was confirmed in a trial sequential analysis using the same DerSimonian–Laird method that underpinned the unadjusted analysis. This was also robust against a trial sequential analysis using the Biggerstaff–Tweedie method. Low-certainty evidence found that ivermectin prophylaxis reduced COVID-19 infection by an average 86% (95% confidence interval 79%–91%). Secondary outcomes provided less certain evidence. Low-certainty evidence suggested that there may be no benefit with ivermectin for “need for mechanical ventilation,” whereas effect estimates for “improvement” and “deterioration” clearly favored ivermectin use. Severe adverse events were rare among treatment trials and evidence of no difference was assessed as low certainty. Evidence on other secondary outcomes was very low certainty.
>Conclusions:
>Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally.
