maybe I can use this in my calc 2 to make myself appear to understand what is going on, then later on in the course by convincing myself I understand the material it will cause me to sub-consciously learn for real and I can pass the class

Fluvoxamine was just looked at in a several month long study involving almost 2k patients. Seems to reduce the likelihood of hospitalization by 30% and maybe as much as 50%. Same organization showed that Ivermectin has little to no effect. This is what I will be taking if I get covid.

The drug regulates cytokine production through its interaction with the endoplasmic reticulum stress sensor inositol-requiring enzyme 1alpha. It essentially prevents your immune system from going out of control and killing your ass.

Is 31 too old to go back to college?

I'm still mulling it over, because being surrounded by people ten years younger makes me feel uncomfortable. I even have a buddy who works the Title IX department at another school, and they've told me a few stories where being older was enough to have reports filed against them.

I went back when I was 33
The first time around, when I dropped out the work seemed overwhelming and I couldn't understand anything.
The second time around it was almost too easy, I was able to complete all the work within hours of each class and I worked F/T at the same time. They made me leader of every single student project because I was the first one done and spent 2 weeks phoning the rest of my 'peers' to pick up the slack and do something. Twice I was asked to TA but didn't have the time.

I avoided 90% of student social things since I'm not 19yo, but still met my g/f there who's half my age and I still live with today

I've done this sometimes. People age so asymmetrically that nobody really knows how old anybody looks. This one time I met some people, they looked like hell and I thought they're older than me, I'm 30. Actually they were like 25 and they thought I'm younger

And actually from an Euro perspective, for some reason a lot of Americans look way older than what I'd expect. I don't know if it's just growth hormones in everything you guys eat or something, but for some reason 19-year-old college kids look like they're 25. Maybe it's just the sunlight? Generally speaking almost every place in the US gets more sunlight than Europe

Sounds like this guy who was in my group when I started studying. He was the oldest at 35. Naturally he didn't go to the student events, just came for some beers with us otherwise, got along with everyone perfectly fine. Also graduated early. Of course over here people aren't so uniformly straight out of high school like college seems to work in the US, people were anywhere from 18 to late 20s, and then the one guy at 35. I was pretty much in the middle at 25

I have been studying for the math subject GRE for a couple months now and I still get like 20-30 problems wrong on every practice test I do. I legitimately do not understand how people solve these problems in 2.5 minutes when they take me around 5 and I am just struggling under the pressure. How the fuck can I get better? It seems as though every single test, no matter how many calculus problems I solve or what I review, comes up with something new to trip me up. should I just accept mediocrity and resign myself to the fact that I'll get rejected from grad school, again?

idk if you're trolling but I clearly tell you this is the MATH SUBJECT GRE for grad school. it's probably one of the most meaningless tests seeing as it just compiles useless calculus problems and random undergrad knowledge into a 66 question test that basically tests if you have memorized everything or not. it really has 0 correlation with any sort of graduate school research, particularly in the area i want to go into so yeah I am rather fucking bored with it
