What is less mentioned is that many bugs (insects and spiders) are full of bacteria such as helicobacter pylori. Even honey can go bad, there is a very good reason why honey should NOT be given to babies.

humans being instinctively empathic to other humans is a fact and humans overcoming instincts is also a fact and the experiment showed exactly that. some people overcame their instincts and obeyed all the way through but they were physically distressed
