What would happen to humanity if every infrastucture we have in space (satellites, probes, the space station) were suddently destroyed? What technologies would we lose? How much of a setback would that be?
I know we would lose GPS, which is a big deal but what else?

Why should paleontology receive public funding?

No.13594679 ViewReplyOriginalReport
It's kind of a waste of money? Wouldn’t it be better for biologically-inclined scientists pursuing a career in palaeontology to instead switch to the more pressing and equally lucrative field of biological conservation? Alternatively, why should palaeontology be funded at all when clearly all the funding should go to cancer, vaccine and antibiotics research?

Are extinction rates in rugose corals really as high impact to society as medical advances? Who cares what life looked like if we know how it is today? Perhaps palaeontology the subject should stop trying to compete with other science funding altogether and become a humanities subject?

Hows it going man? Regardless of chaos would you guess there is some universal principle such as conservation of energy that presses forth through all emergent systems? An intention if you will. Beyond being.

Any data science bros here?

What are some places in the NYC area where I can make $200k+ with 2 years of experience and an MS in math?
Right now I'm at $130k.
I'm trying to think of some good startups, I applied to Peloton, Citi, Bloomberg, and a hedge fund but I didn't get into the hedge fund.

The vaccine second dose directly caused me to have long term heart complications and graves' disease and all the other symptoms and side effects were extremely bad and lasted a week for each dose. Why is the media objectively spreading propaganda and lies and claiming that true stories are disinfo? Why is the media allowed to legally lie and control all the information? Why does the media collectively decide what is true and what is false? Who gave them this authority? Has this booster shot even been tested at all? Is it actually good to get three doses of a vaccine if the vaccine is two strong with only two doses?

Vaccine Associated Adverse Events

Scientifically, the data from VAERS suggests most people who do die after vaccination die in the first few days. How does one refute this?

CDC is using VAERS to prove the vaccines are safe for children by focusing solely on myocarditis cases submitted to VAERS.

If you say VAERS data doesn’t count, then why does the CDC use that data to call the vaccines safe? The CDC report is from 2 days ago, so clearly they are monitoring VAERS.

I've always wondered if conjoined twins being raised as one person would somehow lead to better development and quality of life for them, Abby and Brittany aside. I've heard of a few instances of dicephalus twins being given one name, but none of them survived past infancy. Also, I stumbled upon a paper with an interesting thing at the end of the abstract.

> [...] the over-riding impression is that of two individuals desperately struggling to arrive at some kind of personal identity. It is suggested that the ultimate resolution of their dilemma will involve a fusion of identity so that they will come to regard themselves as a unified organism rather than two separate individuals.
