I'm trying my hardest to understand why this shit is necessary in math proofs.
>Axiom of Choice (AC), which says that if you have a collection of sets then there is a way to select one element from each set.
Why can't I have a collection of sets where there isn't a way to select one element, and what is meant by "select".

The Viral Overlords Prayer

No.13607210 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Our Viral Overlord in heaving,
hallowed be your name,
your symptoms come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily dread.
And forgive us our medical debts, as we "learn to live with it"
And lead us not into ventilation, but deliver us ivermectin

What is your earth build?
I'm a delta male, which means I'm basically like a human in warcraft, average stats.
Relocating here since /v are themselves.

Advice

No.13607106 ViewReplyOriginalReport
What if, instead of trying to push a particle with mass faster than the speed of light to force it to go backward in time, you did something to bestow it with negative mass so that it would flay backward on its own?

Now, bear with me here, what if that thing would be to collide a neutrino with nearly zero mass in the first place with a magneton in order to structurally flip the Higgs Bosons within the neutrino, and prior to this, spinning the neutrino through proximal passage by a skyrmion lattice?

Does this make sense to you?

And if it works this way, then wouldn't that mean that neutrino detectors are really a way of seeing the future, not just something for astronomy?

Is getting boosters of original covid-19 vaccine effective against new variants?

No.13606998 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Each year, I get a flu vaccine for what ever strain of flu is circulating that yr.
It's tweaked.
Now, let Pfizer, et al, modify the covid-19 vaccine, so that the spikes of the vaccine are for the current dominant variant.
Then 1 year later, put out another new "tweaked" covid vaccine.
Using last yrs now somewhat ineffective covid vaccine for This new Delta variant seems like a Big pharma cash grab.

Or is a 3rd vaccination of the original Covid vaccine helpful, especially to seniors, as their immune system may not have responded as strongly to the original as younger adults?

So, are we younger adults ok with the 2 jabs, and we just should wait until the tweaked covid vaccine comes out in 2022?

Medfags, assemble:

I'm researching intraoperative awareness (being conscious during anesthesia) and I'd like to know what the current medical consensus is about whether or not you're actually experiencing pain during surgery and the amnesia drugs simply cause you to forget it.

The answer "we don't really know" is, to my mind, an extremely fucking shitty one.

erally nobody believes the MSM narrative on Ivermectin, but somehow 4chan/sci is packed will self-identified science experts that are shilling the MSM narrative.
Is there a scientific explanation for the massive excess of blatant and overt shilling on 4chan?

Looking for blackpills about technology that indicate the future won't be so bright

No.13585748 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Every day i look at the latest technology news it's all so optimistic, there's MRNA technology, CRISPR, protein folding, neural network image recognition, stem cells, nano injections, genetic editing.

The vision of a world without death, suffering, war, poverty, loss, disease, homelessness, despair. Absolutely sends chills down my spine, i need to know, to understand, what would work against this.

Please post some blackpills about technology, if you have any.
