A present for /sci/

Here's a series of lectures given by the famous Dominic Joyce on some topics of interest to mathematical physics. Anyone who knows some basic differential geometry can learn a few things from this.

Feel free to share other good videos with /sci/, maybe we can actually discuss stuff other than covid.

The true origins of Humans

No.13616911 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Macroevolution in its acknowledged sense is an impossibility, we only achieve these massive advancements through hybridisations.

The reasons humans came about were because of a hybridisation of Porto-primates and Porto-Swine. Inter-species sex is not uncommon in its natural setting at all, in fact many cases document hybrids but because of the complexities that accompany it are often unpropagated.

Why do humans use Pig valves and organs for replacement, why not dogs? Sheep? Goats? Other animals down the same line in accordance to taxonomy. Why do humans share so many traits with pigs like hairless skin, being particular about where deification takes place and many other traits. There’s much more to this, so, I command you all to read this article

Remember me? Remember those atomic width insulators that Michael Wang ripped off?

USF got rid of him and half the mechanical engineering department subsequent to a plagiarism investigation, for those who were curious.

Study tips

No.13615052 ViewReplyOriginalReport
What are the scientifically best tips to help study? I'll start:

Don't eat before a study session. Ideally you shouldn't be starving but the best is a little hungry. It is impossible to focus on a full stomach and you will be sleepy.

What’s the most mind blowing thing you learned about the universe?

The day I learned about quantum field theory I damn near shat myself. Basically that there are invisible fields like electromagnetism or gravity that can interact from a distance is still to this day one of the craziest ideas ever conceived. It’s like magic is real if you can manipulate physics in a useful way.
