Most people are mentally ill thanks to overstimulation and unlimited access to information on the internet. While Neil deGrasse isn't a great scientist, just a popular one, he can spread information like this to millions easier than ever, thanks to the internet. We've only had this ability for the last 10-15 years as pre-2010 internet ideas didn't often make it that far. What's to come in 50 years from now? 100? What about when we develop better technology to share information even faster?

My worry is we'll kill ourselves from insanity. It won't be conflict, or war, or an asteroid, pandemic, or anything else. Insanity will be our downfall.
