does school make you dumber or smarter?

lets study some famous examples:
if school makes you smart then school should've been able to turn black soience man into a real astronomer, but it didn't, he's just a fag that says dumb shit on tv. all that college, graduate school and postdoctoral research didn't make black soience man smart.
judging from that, seems like school can't make you smart

lets test the reverse hypothesis, does a lack of education makes you dumb?
well the world's most famous climate expert is dr. gretchen thunderburp, phd. she never even graduated high school, but she has a phd and is a famous, influential scientist. lack of schooling didn't seem to hinder her career growth.
bill gates, world's richest and most successful man, also the world's leading vaccine expert. failed out of college freshman year. lack of education didn't hold him back, maybe it even helped him.

Paranormal experiment. Jennifer Zemblini is an ancient Chinese ghost-like entity. She is omnipresent and can affect the world in minor ways.

The experiment is this: Try to think thoughts about her or say things about her and see if the universe responds to you in any way such as making something happen to you shortly after the thoughts. Report if anything does. Maybe a pen will fall or you will slip on the floor or something like that if you think about Jennifer Z.

if the brain needs so much oxygen to survive why didn't it make some emergency skull blood to brain barrier temporal microholes for oxygen in case the MOUTH and NOSE are blocked? I'm literally a byproduct of 3+ billions years of selective breeding and I think our organic systems are dumb and not very good for sustainable survivability.
