Why isn't there an online library and education center? The people who would use these resources are frankly, just us. Complete and in-depth courses in different subjects. No need for a (((professor))), it's all self study.

Is this possible? I understand /sci/ has the autistic guides, but something more serious would be better. I'm sure there are a ton of lurkers who would love to learn math, physics, comp sci, etc, but get lost in the 100 books you retards recommend.

How do I write good proofs, /sci/? I'm a stupid fucking 26 year old retard who is currently in their last semester of a CS degree and I feel like a light just switched on. I've taken only taken Linear Algebra and am currently taking Calc 2 (not a lot of proving happening here but it's based so far, also don't ask why I'm taking this in my last semester I'm a transfer student) and an Algorithms class where there IS proofs involved. I feel the urge to do more math and I think I'm in love with it but I don't know where to go from here.

Crystal structure

No.13635996 ViewReplyOriginalReport
Does anyone of you have any tips or tricks for solving crystal structures from powder diffraction data? Some indexing software especially would be really appreciated. Right now I am using Rex with nTreor, which so far worked the best, but would love to try something different or better. Any tips in general are vety welcome!

>It is possible to set up units for length, mass, time and temperature, which are independent of special bodies or substances, necessarily retaining their meaning for all times and for all civilizations, including extraterrestrial and non-human ones, which can be called "natural units of measure".

I'm a huge retard and can't seem to use basic tricks to find logical equivalents. Could someone help me through this one, with some description. I find that the rules that I can use are not sufficient, if I don't know algebra well (which I don't)

p (q r) ? ( q /\ p ) r

Sincerely, OP.

Humans were on this earth less than 1% the time dinosaurs were on this earth. They didn't evolve smart brains but we did. Why? Was it because they were living in a life of extreme abundance (not enough evolutionary pressure)?

effects of castration

No.13637157 ViewReplyOriginalReport
back in 2018, some guy mimicked a jew and said that he was going to castrate himself (picrelated). the jew came, thought that he has some mental issues and forgot posting that thread, but he took the hint and castrated himself. overall he documented the whole experience pretty well (he talked about releasing the 2h vid but i can't find it anywhere).
anyways, he did all this because he hated roasties, but the problem is that some weeks after the procedure he got depression (everyone warned him that it's going to happen). the only explanation that he got was that he got rid of his ego and now superego took precedence and decided that he is a waste of resources.
since freud isn't /sci/, i'm hoping for a better explanation for why a completely mentally well schizo got depression after castration. sure, he was a schizo, but suicide rates among lgbtq+ are high too, and most of them aren't schizos (unless these cases aren't related)
