If the sea level rise were really a big threat then why don't we just start digging big holes in the ocean, removing sands and put them in seashore so the level sat the same and oceans hold more volume ?

I mean it's difficult but it's far more cheaper than what we are doing now and more doable and realistic then what people want to do like making us go back to pre industrial revolution societies

Best way to learn Topology/Manifolds?

Hi /sci/. I want to learn some intro stuff about Topology so that I can use Manifolds in some of my work. I have a compsci background so I haven't done Analysis or anything. Would it be hard for me to get a beginner's grasp of topology? Where should I start?
