And also didn't mention this, but your "then-vs-now" assessment is wrong: you're trying to make it out like "ugliness" (which for normal people is "average looks") is a new problem, but that's provincialist.
While the 90s and 2000s mostly had hotter and prettier men in the leads, the base level of pretty for men in the 10s and 20s remains significantly better than in the 40s-80s. The guys considered "hot" then, minus the occasional James Dean, they're, like, handsome, but they're not, like, angelic the way DiCaprio was.
Like, Leif Garett and Andy Gibb and are very cute, but compare them to irritatingly pretty Troye Sivan, Shawn Mendes, Jungkook, Chalamet, and they're basically orcs

This is my biggest complaint about the manga as a whole and the only thing I'm mad about. He had been my favorite. But then after having the best introduction of any character, he did basically nothing for the rest of his time as a cute brat. Now I am a Nittafag.
Now that I think about it, Matsui did that to me with Itona too. Although, unlike Genba, I still consider Itona best boy.

I've found a similar doujinshi archive website that I've been sharing around. It's mostly comprised of mirror links, and it doesn't host the doujinshi on the website itself, but it has a huge database of over 8,400 doujnshi.

Whenever I find a rare doujinshi that I think should be preserved for posterity, I usually post it on e-hentai. I like their interface and the way it creates archive download links, and it has an active enough user base that I think it will stick around for a while. You can upload worksafe doujinshi, even if it isn't the primary focus of the site. But it's not good for bulk uploading thousands of titles. If you find a better way to share them please let me know, because I have a large collection of saved doujinshi that I've been meticulously organizing by circle, and I'd like a better place to put it than my hard drive.

Does she post anything of Kyou from Kimi Dake ga Hontou on her twitter? I don't have, nor will I make a twitter accout. Searching up Kyou Uesugi or Uesugi Kyou or even the manga's title on any image site doesn't yield any results, and google/bing images only brings up scans from the manga.
