His sound should be stereotypically German when you first meet him, to highlight how out-of-place the guy is, sample some friggin' polka, I don't know, but after those first few interactions, it should switch to a less stereotypical sound. Maybe the primary sound Taisei has but on Ritalin (not sedate like Jiro's, or cheerfully in-control like Chie's), and weirdly wonky, like the keys are all out of tune. Vaguely Helvetica Standard.

ooh- a neutral route might be an interesting way to still flesh out some of the stuff that wouldn't happen on-screen during the comic, if we allow the MC to be kind of a "best friend"/confidant to their character. So the way I envisioned it at first was sort of a set amount of actions per day, and depending on what actions you take specific conversations/scenes would play out, rather than having "converse" as your action. That would be a "workday", and then for events like the date or saturday night it would play out more like a conventional dating sim.
