Belated Taisei birthday!
>>3465686>seeing the actual canon storyline happen as a spectator.ooh- a neutral route might be an interesting way to still flesh out some of the stuff that wouldn't happen on-screen during the comic, if we allow the MC to be kind of a "best friend"/confidant to their character. I definitely agree that they'd branch out- essentially whoever you choose gets to steal the show from Jiro as protagonist.
>>3465768>Ooeygooey candy center of vulnerable tsundere feels?More like, let go of his obviously fake "yes I am totally okay with gangsters and can handle this issue look at me being intimidating" persona and allow himself to be the disgustingly adorable piece of human garbage he is. I'm only a little delusional and tasteless! I swear! ;;;
>MC can start work at the market a week or so before Jiro asks Chie outyeah! I can't decide if MC at Chie/Sango's work vs the Sakana stall would be more plot-fucky.
>measured in terms of Actions.So the way I envisioned it at first was sort of a set amount of actions per day, and depending on what actions you take specific conversations/scenes would play out, rather than having "converse" as your action. That would be a "workday", and then for events like the date or saturday night it would play out more like a conventional dating sim.
>how about a customizable room for MC, full of collectibles, trophies, stuff they bought on their salary.yesss! Adding onto this with what I said in
>>3464990 I just think giving the MC a sort of unique "personality" or eventual revealed look would help the suspension of disbelief with like, "why the heck would x character date this random stranger?" "well, you see, they had this TOTALLY SICK HAT"
>maybe even Genji'sAh, the beauty of Genji's sad, sad bachelor pad. How terrible.
