There's a big difference between creating drawings over a 5 year span, and actually practicing every day.
For context, let's say it takes 10,000 hours to get good at something. If you're only drawing, say 12 hours in a month, that's only 144 hours a year. It'll take you 69 years to get anywhere like that.
But if you draw 6 hours a day, that's 2,190 hours a year. That's just over 4.5 years to get good, as long as you're spending that time actually trying to improve your work, instead of just drawing whatever you feel like.
From what I can tell, it seems like you're the former case. Draw more. A lot more. Then you might have a chance.
