>>99437960I'm not gonna lie, I hated the designs before I saw them in motion but after seeing it they all grew on me.
As for the humor, ehh, I've never found the turtles super funny or anything, I'm mostly there because I'm a long time fan of the characters and the action looks nice.
and I agree on the villains thing, that's a big aspect of modern media that bugs me, I've always disliked the fact most villains are white men or generic monsters, or occasionally obviously white men with an odd skin color.
That's a problem most people interested in diversity won't be fixing, they're too sensitive to make a truly evil black guy or woman, something I plan on correcting when I manage to finally put something out.
I've effectively been dead online for over a year at this point from working on it.
That aside, as someone who is into diversity, of ideas in my case, race/sex/sexuality aren't relevant to meritocracy, I noticed people were coming at you as if you were a /pol/tard, people have a way of forgetting we're all just fans watching everything we grew up enjoying be destroyed by talentless hacks while alarmist retards screech about a culture war.
Your opinion wasn't wrong, and in most cases you're correct, a lot of hacks try to substitute quality with diversity or politics, as a result people start attacking diversity/politics instead of the lack of quality, it's a very dirty bait and switch, it takes attention away from their ineptitude while making their critics look like bigots.
