>>95456967Grail started off with designing Aurora's talent show dress and her "Super Aurora" look. Before this point, I was kind of stupidly stubborn about everything coming from me: the art, the jokes, etc. Josef would tell me "no that's not funny" and I'd rewrite jokes.
When I tried coming up with a new look for Aurora, I realized I was literally incapable. I then realized, "Wait a minute. I actually want this comic to be GOOD!" Seeing Grail's cool-ass Aurora outfit really opened my eyes to the idea of collaboration again. I know that sounds cruddy, but I was pretty cruddy back then. :[
As the series progressed and characters needed new outfits, I kept going to Grail and she kept delivering cool / cute art! I would also ask her for general advice for color and poses and anatomy and stuff when I was really, really struggling.
She designed god, Harmony, and drew up Chaos from Josef's description. She designed the look of Heaven.
When it came time for the Hell arc, I decided that it would be rad for her to draw some extra demons. She did a lot of background demons, she did the stabbing kids, Bigamy / Big Me, all the monsters in Trisssh's monster class (except Mark), and a bunch of other cool stuff. Ontop of that, she taught me a few neat Photoshop tricks (that are probably beginner level, but I'm definitely a beginner).
She drew and wrote that comic about Trisssh's backstory, of course.
She draws the covers for the books.
I think in PFM she'll continue to have a similar role. I would love for her to do more guest comics, but she's also busy drawing Erik the Juiceman in her spare time. She's incredibly busy. Like me, she's got a full-time job.
In conclusion, she's gonna continue to be an awesome art assistant in PFM :)
