>>94586153it's funny, somewhere around a hundred years ago there was a movement to reject what art was supposed to be and make it something else
stuff like that happens from time to time and usually it subsides and even reverses
but it seems to me like the movements from that time and a bit later have just sort of continued, and this is as far as people are taking it currently
in the next decade or two, who knows? minimalism and abstract art have been done, along with glorifying corporate art and even randomly-generated art; where can people still go to reject what exists?
I just hope it's a bit more skilled going forward, this "I took/drew a picture of something edgy" shit doesn't take a lot of skill
