>>94017629>>94023893The sentiment of this panel isn't that bad, sometimes you see people in a fun fling and you desire the romance of the situation, even if you aren't attracted to the people involved. The way it was written was pretty lame of course, and makes me question whether the artist and the writer ever talk to each other. The panels and dialogue in that whole issue were a mess. I think a couple of smaller panels with mini-reflections on the previous moments (show don't, repeat in this case) would have been good and maybe broken up the giant bubble of text some. Or just an editor with a sharp pen on hand. Which my replies to thread on /co/ could really use. We all need a decent editor.
Speaking of which, does anybody know anything about Marvel editors? Because it looks like Moss, Brevoort and Alonso are asleep at the wheel here.
>>94018206No,
but I've sure worked at a lot of places where I'm the only queer dude. It was usually never awkward because I kept that shit to myself, to avoid having to fight some dumbfuck redneck that decided to down a couple shots and try out some good 'ole gaybashing. The only time I've had to fight anybody for real outside a gym was because somebody at my workplace found out I was gay and decided to get cute about it.>>94028604I've never had problems with the police personally (pulled over for not coming to a complete stop a couple of times, had to complain about some meth seller next door nobody does anything about, helped my uncle [a local sergeant] catch a woman's escaped dog 'cause I had some trapping equipment and animal control was out probably drinking coffee in a breakroom somewhere,) but if you talk to some old queers that just wanted to go a bar and knock back a couple of beers, dance a little, get laid and go home, only to have the place raided and get their heads knocked in by some asshole who never should have had a badge, you probably wouldn't be so attached to the police yourself.
