I can't remember the name of it, but one of the absolute worst webcomics I've ever read was this space LGBT thing done by a Steven Universe storyboarder; it got dumped last year for the Weekend of Pain. The plot is about all these LGBT children kept on a space ship for study by some aliens. Instead of a normal education they read wikipedia, so the thing opens with a copypaste of Die Hard's wiki entry. One of the MC's is a goblin with vitiligo and everyone cries over literally fucking nothing, which is further stretched out because instead of regular comic panels or even storyboards, the comic consists of fucking keyframes.>Moonstruck
This is also an LGBT comic but under an actual publisher, that tackles anxiety in a way nobody has ever fully understood. The MC is a werewolf and has a fucking panic attack when she turns into a werewolf, in a city where literally everyone is monsters and shit. This is like if you lived in Harlem and you were black, and if someone noticed you were black then you turned into a crying mess.>America
Marvel's America reads like a fucking fever dream and I read every issue. Marville has the excuse of being written by a VP who can do what he wants, but it is fucking baffling that Gabby Rivera had zero oversight. Every dialogue was a mix between non-sequitor feminist exclamations and I guess "inspiring" speeches about how you, the reader, is a strong Hispanic gay woman of color.
In the first issue America breaks up with her longtime gf because she can't handle a long-distance relationship while America goes to space college. America can teleport at will. It is incredibly likely this is because Gabby Rivera doesn't like white people.
There is a space college named after a US Supreme Court justice.
Describing the entire comic would take more time and alcohol than I really have, but oh man what a fucking ride.
