>>92172629>Episode 3Jack doesn't kill Ashi. He lets her go, and Jack wanders off. He feels incredibly guilty for failing his quest and killing people on top of it. Crank up his hallucinations from Episode 1 and 2, but leave them more like background radiation. His main priority now is to remember his purpose. Jack continues to wander aimlessly looking for people to help, and wrongs to right.
Meanwhile, Ashi cautiously hunts him.
>Episode 4Dedicate an episode to a classic episodic Jack adventure featuring brooding, bearded, crazy, swordless Jack. Helping some random people in a random location, and growing a little more sane in the process.
Over the course of the 5 or so episodes of Jack's adventures, Ashi witnesses all the good he does, analyzes his personality, mood, and degrading sanity, as she organically sees for herself how terrible Aku's future is. She doesn't take up as much screen time, but she gets a couple scenes every episode interacting with Aku's twisted world, and observing the Samurai's actions, both of which slowly develop her character.
She grows more hesitant and doubtful of her own quest to kill the Samurai, until she reluctantly joins Jack, the Scotsman, and all those others who are loyal to Jack for the final battle,
where she dies a quick death like her sisters.
