>>91842696Oh, you mean conceptual-wise. Okay, yeah, i can see them getting together due to mutual loneliness and relatability, although that is a pretty sad reason.
>>91842973I actually have no issue with SM/WW in concept: two very nice people who are also superheroes getting together.
The problem is DC always explore it in weird angles that do the characters no favors. You've the prom king/queen superficiality, the class/racial warfare, the eugenics/breeding thinking, the weird super-sex ruminations, some really off-putting sexist leanings and so on.
Then there's the fact that Wonder Woman stop being a nice character when paired with Superman. She gets reduced to a temperamental and uncaring barbaric woman that see herself as above others due to her racial and social stature and think she can do everything she wants because her might essentially make her right, with Superman being the only person capable of being able her reign in and temper her outbursts because she's crazy over him due to his obvious superior might in relation to any other man and even herself.
Basically it's pure shit in execution. It can only exist well in the realm of fanfiction and then not even that. The most famous fanfiction featuring the pairing are about Superman raping Wonder Woman in some manner or another and her enjoying it.
