She was escorted to Huemac’s palace, people crowded around her. To some there was great excitement and wonder, for others sadness filled their hearts due to the fulfillment of the prophecy. The lady was brought to a dark courtroom where Huemac’s throne was located. There he was, his lust a peace at he saw her coming into the room. He asked for her name, and his emissaries told him that she was Coahueye.
Lady Coahueye approached Huemac, who was high in his throne. Guards were ready to approach her, when Huemac gave them a sign to stop and let her do as she wished. She went up a few stairs and in front of his presence, lady Coahueye lifted her skirt up, and rested in a reed mat that was in front of Huemac’s throne. Huemac stood up and immediately ordered his guards and emissaries to leave. Both were alone now.
