I actually didn't like the, "Hiney gets better when he becomes a girl." bit because it was a rare misstep in KND's usual pretty even handing of the sexes. Girlishness was never bad but also never inherently evil, the same as boyishness; Numbuh 4 wasn't a jerk for not liking Rainbow Monkeys, he was a jerk when he broke Numbuh 3's toy.
Its a subtle difference but an important one especially for a show so focused on childhood. That said generally I loved the off-set episodes. Numbuh 2's detective adventures were also always hilarious-I love when he roped 3 into the game.
