In my final years in NY I just stopped going because I'm not a frequenter of FB, which is was apparently the only way to know when they were going on sale. You had to make online purchase only and unless I am mistaken you don't get to do on site sales any longer.
Each year the reasons became different for those tix selling like hot cakes. Game of Thrones. The Walking Dead.
Speaking of Fanfiction, one year had Fifty Shades of Grey as a feature panel. Shit was bananas. And all this for only one con a year in New York Fucking City.
So tell me why a place down south that doesn't have half the transportation system NY does have THREE goddamned conventions taking place a year compared to New York? Does AnimeFest even occur any longer?
