Sure you might get some likes. Maybe a couple thousand views on Youtube. But years later, when all of the clicking has faded away, what will you have left? Will those views be there for you when your heart’s been broken and you need a shoulder to cry on? Will those reblogs give you a ride when your car is breaks down and you’re stranded in the pouring rain? Will those likes come visit you at the hospital when you’re dying of some ocular cancer related to VR gaming?
You’ll be all alone, and you’ll die all alone. And when they post your obituary online, someone will read it on their Minority Report computer (because this all takes place in the future) and they’ll strain to remember who you were until they finally say:
“Oh yeah, I think they spoiled that TV show.” "
