>>78129598>>78129561I haven't read it so I can't comment on it specifially, but generally when a corporation wants to push someone or somethign as their face and representative, as Marvel is tring to do with Carol as their prominent female hero, hey try to clean them up removing all the flaws that made them interesting and turning them into oring mary sues because they beliee to make the public love them they have to show how everyone loves them in universe too.
It's happened to Superman too, who has been gradually turned into space jesus.
I' not saying that there aren't interesting superman stories, but the perception that people have of him, the perception that DC has been pushing for decades is that of a perfect boy scout that everybody adores.
While if you read his stories up to the 70es you get crazy whacky space adventures with sometimes a bit of superdickery here and there.
