Images like that are fine in a thread, for the most part, but used as an opening post will cause a mod to shut it down for being off-topic. I've never played the game, but that Team Fortress character is not really /co/.
Also the topic in general, being a vague christmas thread, is not particularly on-topic either for /co/. /b/, /bant/ or /s4s/ would probably better for that. Hell even /pol/ would be more open to it. The mods on /co/ are quite particular (read: austistically pedantic) over thread specifics.
