/co/, I'm starting to doubt the Air Nomad genocide.

I mean, the Fire Nation is big and all, but how could all of those Air Benders die without realising that the Fire Nation was coming ahead of time? They had gliders, they could have flown away.

Even with ships, they probably could have noticed. And they knew something terrible was going to happen beforehand, and Aang disappeared, wouldn't they be suspicious?

They must have noticed the sentiment in the Fire Nation -- and there's no way that so few Fire Benders could have killed so many Air Benders in just one day. It doesn't add up mathematically.

The only sources we have for the Air Nomad genocide are Fire Nation and historical knowledge -- which plays perfectly into the narrative of the Air Nomads.

Redpill me on the Air Nomad genocide, /co/.
