>>126054131Now that one is a matter entirely up to the writer. There's not going to be one single agreed upon origin, but we can make as many as we like until we find some that work. I would imagine for them to meet, we'd need to move Connie over to Echo Creek. This can be done in many ways.
One could be by way of her mom getting a recommended promotion into becoming a hospital head over at Echo Creek. Or Connie could be reccomended to go over there on her own as part of early learner's program in regards to her NASA stuff. Whichever case we choose, once Connie ends up at Ech Creek High, the principal will most likely use Marco once again as the person to show her around. Now I once saw this short 4-panel comic of Connie accidently flipping Marco over on her first day at the school and Marco being surpised at such a thing. We can come up with other stuff that could fit more, but let's go with this scenario for now.
Once such an accident occurs, Marco would be shocked but happy to know there's finally another martial artist besides him and Star, if we choose to include her in this. Now we have an opportunity to get the two interested in each other through their mutually shared experiences of extra-dimensional people. Connie through Pearl, and Marco through both being a prodigy and Mewni training. But let's keep this simple and say that Connie tells Marco she had a really good friend and master who taught her many things. Marco in turn tells her that he just learned it from Karate classes and Mackie Hand movies.
But upon showing Connie his own moves and telling her he's either a green or a red belt, she'd honestly be suprised as well. For both in and outside of this, Marco's skills are well beyond those two belts. So now we can use that to strike up a connection of their own experiences with self-doubt both now and at a later date.
With this established, we'll soon need to move on to the call-to-action that will fully see the two engage with one another.
