Did she have nothing to live for after that? Was/is she selfish enough that she would risk living on just to stay with her new friends?
I delight in the dichotomy that she would only care enough to kill herself to save the world she lives on, when she loves it enough to not be able to causally go through with it.
And at the same time fully aware that in doing so, she damns those around her to a horrible fate, and is guilty by association.
The only time the option of suicide should not be on her mind, is when the world is to shit for her to bother saving it. Which is often, but not always.
