>>125289494>I'm amazed anyone with talent is stupid enough to carry that guy.to be fair to them, they all seem relatively young (the youngest one out of them is 18 and the rest are college aged) so I think they have this sort of wide-eyed perspective about everything for the time being. I think what sucks is besides one of them, the rest of them are completely unknown and barely get attention on places like Twitter where Rust has supposedly been advertising everything. But they barely get anything out of it so they seem to be doing their own thing while doing the book on the side. Rust wants it to be a big thing but none of them take it that seriously, the way I see it to them it's just a fun project to do so I can't fault them for wanting to do it despite my dislike of Rust
>Even if they aren't that great they're basically just letting this dumb manchild get paid off their effort.to my understanding they're not getting paid at all, it's all essentially "do the work when you can" type of projects and they get paid through whatever profits they get afterward apparently
but it's just such a clumsy thing to do and makes it clear Rust is a retard with no business sense, like he wants to be the next Todd McFarlene without understanding what Todd had to do to capitalize on Spawn the way he did. He's been trying to do podcasts, streams, getting into the V-tuber trend for ez money but without any real pay off so it goes nowhere. Eventually a lot of the people following are just going to see him as a fraud and leave him in the dust while everyone who actually tries will get somewhere (hopefully)
>Do any of them seem aware they're better than him?Thankfully like I said above they don't take all this too seriously like Rust does they're content doing their own thing but I do feel bad for anyone dumb enough to go along with his shit
tl;dr Rust is an opportunistic idiot but everyone else "should" be fine in the long run because they have the skill to carry themselves
