Wouldn't have even mattered in the end. Unless people followed the artists, there wouldn't be any grand exodus. The only reason the transition from Tumblr to Twitter was relatively painless (aside from shitty image quality) was because most people already had a Twitter account anyway, for better or worse.
Pillowfort's blatant lack of professionalism is appalling. Letting html execute inside comments is just fucking inexcusable, that's something you stop from happening from the word "go," not "oh hey I can force people to log out by making them look at this image coupled with the proper html inject."
