Nu-Adult Swim is owned by AT&T and they care more about ratings than actually doing shit for the fans. They did the bare minimum for a cool prank idea but couldn't spare to free up some extra space on the lineup to see it to completion. Because god forbid they lose a viewer uber-NPC viewers that actually tune in for the late night Seth reruns. But that's what the new mindset is.
Typical really... But then again, AT&T views Adult Swim as scourge and wants to move all of their shows to HBO Max.
There could be a continuation of AS Jr. with those stealth premieres tomorrow, but looking at the shell of a network this place has turned into. I'd doubt it.
Rick and Morty was okay. Aqua Teen was great. I really wish they had done more.
A for the idea, but C- for execution.
mid-late 2010s AS would have done a way better job at this.
