DC's plans post-Future State

DC is still making monthly comics, for now at least. But don't expect the line to get any bigger. The Future State page count/price point is here to stay. Less titles but more backups, focus on proven A and B listers. Inching closer to Prestige Plus being the new normal to justify keeping stuff in print. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are getting two backups each. Some of these backups are 6 parters, some are 12 parters. Some might get renewed, some might swapped out for other stuff. This is just what's slated for the spring relaunch.

The big push is the redesigned app. DCU Infinite will be the new brand name for print and web comics going forward. It's just a casual-friendly way of explaining Multiverse, Elseworlds stuff. The goal is for the line to be 50% print comics and 50% web comics by end of the year. There will be two tiers for the app: lower level gets you access to the archive, Premium tier gives you access to weekly new installments of digital comics. Digital comics will also be reprinted in monthly print too.
