I feel like it does what it needs to for a pilot. It introduces the concept makes clear what each charactercs role is and doesn't overstay it's welcome. In its current short format it's way too manic though, a bit over 4 minutes. It'd probobly do better with a 11 minute episode length so that the audience can catch their breath once in a while and they can focus on one, maybe two situations at a time instead of rushing through one every minute or so.
But damn even in cartoonland you need two jobs to get by sheesh.

It has a lot of potential to become one of those major comfy cartoons with a wild slice of life adventure to it while also possibly containing this overarching story that they don’t go too much into

Agreed. Welcome to Doozy and The Summoning are what need to be cartoons, someday - or needed to be a ling time ago. I have the same feelings about Tyler and Co. And Kid Arthur as well, all 4 of which came from Frederator.

Those 4 series alone IMHO would have been better than Bee And Puppycat and definitely better than Star Vs Her Own Obnoxiousness, anon.
