At first I figured it was a sort of "you feel the pangs of hunger, which makes you feel alive, which makes you feel happy" kind of case that Bluevoice was making (which is odd since Teff is like a robot or something), but with Yoso's whole thing with Emeri, I think Bluevoice might be trying to keep Teff from hearing something, or someone.
