IDK if it's because I've absorbed so many of anon's takes, but it does feel like there will be a vibe going, and then she jumps in and whatever she has to contribute is as much a self-praise in the sense of being info only she would have, while also not feeling totally germane to what was previously being discussed. Additionally, you get the feel that there is some passive aggression between her and Faverau, because they will both start talking and neither stop to give ground to the other. I might be inferring something not there, but there but I keep feeling like the response to Mandalorian has armored Faverau and Filoni to a lesser degree, and that only happens with the trade off of it coming from Kennedy, and everything about her contributions to the discussions feels so much more like she is trying the passively argue why she should be kept around.
That said, the series is fantastically compelling, and I've found myself discovering a new appreciation of George's vision for technological progression, and while I wasn't expecting the most recent episode to be terribly captivating, the presentation of the SFX tech from the OT to PT to the screens and use with vidya engines, and that being in many was what George envisioned while making the PT gave me warm feelings in my heart for him, and left me hoping that there was joy and excitement when he saw the tech he envisioned a decade+ ago.
