Wealth disparity isn't sourced to capitalism, it's sourced to the fact that a majority of people don't have the energy or drive to improve their lives. They just want comfort and convenience.
I do agree the culture war is a symptom, but it's not a symptom of capitalism or a free market, it's a symptom of people thinking they're entitled to something, while also thinking they're entitled to not have to work for it (or thinking that existing is good enough justification).
I don't think unfettered capitalism is the way to go, solely because of the aforementioned entitlement. A minarchist society where the government keeps out of the economy, but still has a standing army, police force, and adjudicates contractual disputes (with the 2nd amendment firmly in place) seems like a good place to go. Of course, the problem is that most societies aren't ready for that level of freedom since it comes with the responsibility of not being a parasitic cunt.
And let me tell you, from having lived in a shithole most of my life, a lot of people can't stop being a parasitic cunt because that's all they know.
Even so, I'd take dangerous freedom over safe tyranny.
