>>114281624Okay, I've written a more detailed and refined background for him if anyone wants to read it. This is still very work-in-progress and a lot of these ideas are recent, and I think I might ditch the suit concept and use it for another character.
This character is actually very old. He started off as an early human hunter during the Rebellion, later taken away by Gem researchers under the intention of creating a "pet" for Pink Diamond. To make sure that her new toy didn't expire, he went under a rather painful procedure that involved inserting an experimental gemstone directly into his forehead. His face is malformed as a result, with his head structure being slightly off and his eyes being misplaced. This new gemstone also had a mental restriction that gives him the irresistible compulsion to follow literally any order a gem would give him, effectively robbing him of his will.
He was then taken to a special stasis chamber that would keep in there for about 200 years to test his infinite lifespan. However, Pink's "shattering" happened, and the Diamonds' corruption wave made sure that they weren't able to see the fruits of their labor. He would later awaken, frightened the moment he got a good look at his new form and mournful over the fact that everyone he ever knew is now gone.
Clouded with anger and grief, he proceeded to hunt every corrupted Gem he can find. He utilized some Gem weapons laying around and combines them with his hunting skills to proceed with his goals. He started off small and gradually moved to bigger and badder monsters the more he honed his skills. His antics were eventually ceased once Rose and her followers got word of an individual defeating and shattering various corrupted Gems, which conflicts with her more merciful approach of simply bubbling them. He is commanded by Rose to stop shattering corrupted Gems, to which he is forced to comply as a consequence of his gemstone.
