>>113875366>Hob finally appears and nothing major happens with him and his scheme.Sally finally broke away from him, which is fucking years overdue, his scheme fell apart, and now Sally and the Turtles know he's working with Karai. And he, in turn, is likely to see Sally and the turtles as a threat, painting targets on them and everyone at the pantry.
>the cat was always in the houseEither it was Shredder, or yeah, the cat out ninjas some badass ninjas that didn't have their head in the game, which is actually pretty believable. I would argue that "the fucking cat was right behind them as they were saying it was gone for good" was a great way to break the obvious tension that built up over Splinter's death. Something they could all laugh at. It felt organic.
>Don't like this idea of teaching other mutants how to do martial arts.Any version of TMNT to last a few years starts to include the idea of them training others to fight. Hell, Mirage Raph in his post-Apocalypse future becomes the new Splinter. That's just who the characters are. They help, and they're the sort that would go "well if you teach a dude to fish..."
>The turtles not even considering how to find a cure for the mutations? Give them a little time, but I'd say that there'd be worry on Don's part that any "cure" could be used to turn formerly animal mutants into pure animals again. It wouldn't be unreasonable to say that self-preservation is a factor here. But more than that, keep in mind that going through the mutation process - and presumably any un-mutation process - requires some ooze, which allows the body to survive what would otherwise be lethal changes. I don't see them getting their hands on more ooze without one hell of a fight, seeing as how the Utroms aren't about to hand over their most vital resource when shit's so bad for Utromkind right now.
