>>113505824I agree that there's no guarantee the plot, such as it is, will go anywhere, and even less chance the show gets renewed, but there's another 10 episodes from the first production season set to come out later this year, so acting like we've seen everything the show has is dumb. With more coming down the pipe in the future, it's normal for people to maintain some hype and speculation, plus the total lack of any marketing for the show's release means a lot more new people coming across it over time, rather than the single big rush at the start that Netflix episode dumps usually have. The show threads will die down in time same as anything else.
But anyway, personally I'd be pretty interested to see them explore the "you're actually goons for an evil megacorp, oops!" angle which feels pretty likely considering how sketchy they've set Hinobi up to be.
