>>109100377I'm from Mississippi, not Minnesota, so our climate is different. We have two seasons: green and brown. During the summer the heat is so oppressive that grass lawns struggle to survive. It's very common to see patches of brown dead grass in front yards. Trees should be thick and full of leaves, and the undergrowth is dense enough to be called "jungle like", and that's not even taking Kudzu into consideration. That looks more like our winters, where the forests would be dead and barren hellscapes if not for all the goddamn pine trees. The grass turns brown then as well, to the point where no one mows their lawn for months at a time, 'cause that shit just isn't growing. It also rains all the goddamn time, but the Delta is the only region that really suffers from flooding. A lot of American places look very similar to where I grew up, especially rural Pennsylvania. I've always wanted to live in Minnesota because of the abundance of white people, the snow, and the wide swaths of wilderness. Their bars seem comfier, too. I always wanted to drink beer with some Midwestern dads who like old country music.
